After an escalating number of attacks in the West Bank and Gaza in May 2021, people around the world responded in Palestinian solidarity against the Israeli state. In London, a gathering started in Marble Arch and made it's way to the Israeli Embassy in Kensington in of the largest demonstrations in recent years (up to 200,00 people).

Anti-Zionist Jews were also present and "Free, free Palestine", could be heard throughout the day in both English and Arabic. Violence later occurred after a small group of protesters clashed with police.
